COMESA

Intro

COMESA is an African regional body/continental body formed in year 1994 consisting of 19 countries whose mission is to spur economic growth and prosperity through regional integration.

Brief

It was established on 5th November 1993 in Kampala, Uganda. The secretariat is based in Lusaka, Zambia.  The highest decision making structure is the COMESA Authority  and meets once annually.
